Meet Courtney, the Venue & Events Director

Courtney’s journey into the wedding and events industry began in 2022 with her own wedding day. Choosing not to hire a professional planner due to cost, she quickly realized just how overwhelming it can be to manage timelines, vendors, and countless details—while also trying to fully experience such a meaningful moment. In that experience, she discovered her true calling: creating seamless, stress-free celebrations so couples can be fully present on their big day.

After seven years in dentistry, Courtney made the bold decision to follow her passion. She immediately pursued professional education and certifications in wedding and event planning, laying the groundwork for what would soon become a thriving business. She launched I Do For You with a soft opening, serving family and friends for a full year while refining her systems, processes, and overall client experience. In 2023, she officially opened to the public, and by 2024 had grown her team to include three certified wedding planners, an assistant coordinator, interns, an officiant, and an HR/Operations Director.

During this same period of growth, Courtney became connected with a venue that was still under construction and not yet ready to open. Within six months, she stepped into the role of Venue Manager and Director, taking the lead in preparing Trinity Oaks Event Venue for launch. She introduced the venue to the community with a large-scale open house and wedding expo featuring over 40 vendors and more than 100 engaged couples. Within just three months of opening, the venue reached 50% capacity in bookings. Now, two years later in 2026, Trinity Oaks is operating near full booking capacity.

In addition to her role at Trinity Oaks, Courtney also serves as the Events Director for Matthew’s Hope, the local nonprofit organization located on the property. She works closely with Matthew’s Hope’s Moving Forward guests to ensure the venue remains clean, properly set up with accurate floor plans, and maintained with excellence and care. Her collaboration helps create a space that not only hosts beautiful celebrations but also reflects the heart and mission of the organization it supports.

As Venue & Events Director of Trinity Oaks Event Venue, Courtney brings both personal insight and professional expertise to every celebration hosted on the property. Her hands-on leadership style, strategic growth mindset, attention to detail, and genuine heart for service ensure that every event at Trinity Oaks is beautifully executed and truly unforgettable.
